Cringe Transgender Animal

Cringe Transgender Animal is a visual essay depicting 7 memories from before transitioning. Before moving to Portland, I lived in Honolulu, Hawai'i and was able to be comfortably queer out in public and was comfortable with my sexuality. What I questioned the most was my gender identity, I didn't understand the feelings I was feeling until I moved to Portland where I was able to meet people who were Transgender. This series was a chance to take times where I dysphoric and uncomfortable and reimagine them as my transitioned self.
